Caught on camera: Bullies forcing man to get off train in Mumbai

New Delhi: A Shocking incidence was captured on camera revealing how people traveling in Mumbai local trains get bullied. A video clip was recovered from a passenger which showed a passenger was bullied to get off from the train.


A group of commuters on the Churchgate-Dahanu route who bully passengers into getting off if their destination happens to be a station before Virar, Mumbai. They beat and bully up innocent passengers every time.

After a complaint was lodged, Western Railway said action will be taken against the commuters.

Anand Vijay Jha, senior divisional commissioner (RPF, Western Railway), said, We will take action as soon as possible. We appeal to commuters to pass on information about the people seen in the footage to the RPF control room on the toll free number 1322.

The shocking video was taken on August 4 at Borivali station, on the 4.08 pm Churchgate-Dahanu local.

The commuter in question was seated when a group of four to five passengers approached him. This group usually alights between Palghar and Dahanu.

Rajesh Gupta (name changed) said, 'I quietly captured the video as I felt they had to be exposed'.

When the commuter said he was headed for Bhayandar, the group started shouting at him, asking him to get off the train. They beat him up and forced him to alight," Rajesh Gupta, , who was travelling in the train, said.
