Barmer: Ninety-three rounds of 9 mm ammunition have been recovered from a smuggler's house in Gagaria village here, the police said today.
“The ammunition was recovered from smuggler Nabiya's house after interrogation last night and he is being questioned to ascertain to whom the ammunition was to be delivered to,” SP Barmer Paris Anil Deshmukh said.
In a joint search operation of Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) and Special Action Group (SOG), the history-sheeter Nawab alias Nabiya was arrested with his accomplice, on the border district of Barmer on Thursday with counterfeit currency having a face value of over Rs 2.40 lakh.
