Navi Mumbai, Dec 12: Four youths driving a Honda Accord car at 150 km per hour died on Sunday morning, when the vehicle crashed into a tree and took several somersaults.

Twentytwo-year-old Rakesh Chauhan was driving the car. He had three friends, Nilesh Bhatt, 21, Sunny Sharma, 20 and Karandeep Sandhu, 18 in the car. All of them died on the spot.

The car was being driven at tremendous speed on the highway and as the driver lost its balance it hit a roadside tree and then tumbled several times. The tree broke into two.

All the four youths had gone to a pub in Belapur on Saturday night and were returning home at around 5:15 am to Vashi, when the crash took place.  Liquor bottles were found inside the car, police said.
