Delhi Thief Dies Of Arterial Bleeding After Stealing Navratra Donations

New Delhi, Oct 5: An unidentified thief stole donations kept inside a glass bowl at the  Navratra Jagaran pandal in Rohini Sector 8 and died of excessive bleeding, when the shard of broken glass cut his arteries. All this was recorded on  cctv cameras installed in the pandal.
 
The incident took place on Monday night after the Bhajan Sandhya on the seventh day of Jagaran. The glass donation bowl was kept prominently at the Mata Ka Durbar.
 
Soon after the Bhajan was over and the crowd began moving out, the thief took the opportunity to break the glass bowl, and pushed the currency notes in his pocket, but no before one of the arteries on his wrist was cut by a shard of broken glass. 
 
The thief ran out of the pandal bleeding profusely, and fell after a distance. He died of excessive bleeding on the spot, local residents said, and the money that was stolen was recovered from his pockets.Rohini North Zone police is investigating.
