World Hello Day 2017
World Hello Day 2017

World Hello Day which falls on November 21 every year is observed to express that conflicts should be resolved via communication instead of force. It began to be celebrated from 1973 after Yom Kippur War. The participants say hello to at least 10 people on the day. Interestingly, thirty-one winners of Nobel Peace Prize are those who have recognised the value of World Hello Day in preserving peace. It not only sheds light on peace but also on importance of communication.

All differences, from personal to international can be resolved by talking and listening to other. For example, if your friend has really hurt you and instead of settling the problem with communication, you start ignoring your friend. Then, what will be the result?
