New Delhi, Sept 16: The war between Apple and Samsung has spill out from court rooms to the advertising arena.
The South Korean handset maker released an ad in various newspapers that compared the specifications of the two top-of-the-line smartphones - Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S III.
In this ad, Samsung said that 'it doesn't take a genius' to choose between its flagship handset and the brand new iPhone 5, announced last week. The ad then goes on to list the respective specifications of the two handsets, which depict that the Galaxy SIII is offering almost double the features as found in Apple’s latest gadget that is selling like hotcakes.
In the feature comparison list, Samsung ridiculed Apple's new lightning connector as "a totally different plug" versus the Galaxy S III's "standard micro USB plug."
Finally, it said, 'The Next Big Thing Is Already Here.'
Surprisingly, the ad did not mention the numerous enhancements coming with iOS 6, Apple's mobile operating system that according to analysts will give the Cupertino-based Apple the desired edge in the smartphone market.
