New Delhi: The Swift refresh has now made its motorshow debut at the ongoing 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and here, we have put together all the details of the updated Suzuki. Also seen in the next page are some official pics of the Swift facelift.
The highly successful hatchback from the Japanese multinational corporation, the all new Swift, made its red carpet debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show with a minor nip and tuck job.
The 2014 Swift comes with few cosmetic changes on the outside and a few feature additions on the inside.
The engine options, comprising of the 1.2 liter K series petrol variant and the 1.3 liter Fiat derived Multijet turbo diesel motor remain unchanged.
The 5 speed manual gearbox is also the same. But Suzuki now says it has squeezed out extra mileage from the engines and this has also resulted in lower tail pipe CO2 emissions.
The company has worked upon on the diesel engine as it now emits fewer carbon dioxides (down from 109g/km to 101g/km) beside a better fuel efficiency of 7 per cent to 25.63km/l.
The 2014 Swift now sports the LED daytime running lamps that are boomerang shaped and sit in the fog lamp housing.
