Tata Motors offers to buy old Nanos

Tata Motors  has launched a campaign for all existing Nano customers, under which the company is offering them exclusive deals for purchasing the new GenX Nano with Easy Shift (Automated Manual Transmission).

Under the pre-launch campaign ‘Power 1Ư', Nano owners will be offered the best market price for their old Nanos and will also receive a special bonus of Rs 20,000 in addition to the price of the old car, according to the press release.

Tata Motors will also donate to Child Rights and You (CRY) on behalf of the customer and contribute towards the retention of girl children in school for a year, the release said. In addition, Nano customers can also enroll into a referral programme where they can win a cash prize of Rs 5,000 for every referral. Tata Motors has also tied up with preferred financial partners for attractive interest rates on car loans.

According to Mayank Pareek, President, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors Limited, “As part of the Horizonext journey, we now bring the GenX Nano with latest technological advancements as we continue to reach out to our customers with feature-rich products that offer best-in-class technology and design engineering.”

He said Tata Motors has sold more than 2.5 lakh units since its launch in 2008. “We have seen many repeat purchases and hence this special scheme! This product has been the most awaited car and we are pleased to reward the existing customers by offering them the first opportunity to own this smart city car,” he added.

Sales of Tata passenger cars in March 2015 were at 12,977 units, higher by 33 percent over March 2014. Cumulative sales of all Tata passenger vehicles in the domestic market for FY 14-15 were 134080 units, lower by three percent over the last year.
