New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India unveiled the all new Vitara Brezza SUV at the Auto Expo 2016 in Greater Noida on Wednesday. This is the first launch of the Expo.
The compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) Vitara Brezza will be launched in April this year and will be competing with Ford EcoSport and Mahindra & Mahindra's TUV300.
"We have focussed on the youth with this car. We are also adhering to the 'Make In India' initiative of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Compact SUV will be a tough competition to other players of the market'', Maruti Suzuki India Limited's Head Domestic market RS Kalsi said at the launch.
He added that ''Vitara Brezza is Maruti Suzuki's symbol of 'Create' in India."
The styling of the car is bold and with all the contemporary equipments. Sporty seats, flip folder rear seats, advanced metre cluster adds to the interior beauty. The new compact SUV has a length of 3,995 mm, and a power of 66 kw/4,000 rpm and 200 Nm/1,750 rpm. It has a wheel base of 2,500 mm and minimum ground clearance of 198 mm.
The formal launch of the SUV will take place in March and will be up on sales from April.
