New Delhi: Mahindra Reva has launched a new premium variant of its electric car, the Reva, at Rs 5.72 lakh (on-road Delhi).
The new variant offers an extended range of 120kms and electric power steering. The model offers features like the infotainment system, driver information system, reverse parking camera and assist.
The customer also needs to pay a monthly energy fee of Rs 2,999 which will allow him or her to drive 50,000kms for a period of five years.
To boost sales, Mahindra Reva has introduced an easy and simple ownership scheme called Goodbye Fuel, Hello Electric for the e2o. To make the car more affordable the programme separates the initial acquisition cost of the e2o and the usage cost (in the form of the battery and its maintenance).
Under the new scheme, the company also guarantees the performance of the battery as the ownership of the battery lies with Mahindra Reva. This means you pay only for the distance you drive.
