New Delhi: Kansai Nerolac Paints today reported 19.77 per cent increase in standalone net profit at Rs. 72.98 crore for the first quarter ended June 30.
The company had reported net profit of Rs. 60.93 crore in the April-June quarter of 2013-14 fiscal.
Net sales during Q1, 2014-15 were at Rs. 921.07 crore, an increase of 16.61 per cent as compared to Rs. 789.81 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a BSE filing.
Overall expenses during Q1 stood at Rs. 823.17 crore, up 16.63 per cent as against Rs. 705.75 crore in the same quarter last year.
