New Delhi: Intex has launched its new budget smartphone, the Aqua i5 Octa, at Rs 7,499. The handset will be exclusively available via Amazon India.
Intex Aqua i5 Octa is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device which runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It comes with a 5-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) resolution IPS display. The highlight of the device is its chipset, which is an octa-core 1.4GHz MediaTek processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM.
Inbuilt storage includes 8GB, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard.
Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. It is backed by a 2000mAh battery.
