New Delhi: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 is likely to be launched on March 27. The company recently unveiled the teaser images and video of the bike.

Bajaj claims the Pulsar RS 200 to be the fastest Pulsar ever. The front of RS200 sports stunning looks with two bold HID projector lamps forming the eyes of the bike. Giving it a solid stance is a muscular fuel tank that bulges out of its body. The rear LED lights hold inverse 7 digit styling which throws a sparkling red light into your eyes.

The bike is 2060mm long and 750mm wide, and comes with a height of 165mm. It weighs 151 kgs approximately with a fuel tank of 12 litres.

Pulsar RS200 is equipped with a 200cc, 4-valve engine. The bike is powered by a 199.5cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that churns out a maximum power output of 24.4PS at 9,500rpm and a peak torque of 18.6Nm at 8,000rpm. The engine is coupled to a six-speed gearbox.

The suspension mechanism consists of telescopic setup at the front and single spring damper at the rear. The front gets 280mm butterfly type disc, while the rear gets 230mm butterfly type disc brakes.

The front fairing of the Pulsar 200 RS has integrated LED daytime running lights. Adding to it, the bike has LED tail-lights and dual projector headlights with automatic headlight function.

The company also claims that the bike will be more fuel efficient and low in emission. Some dealers have already started taking bookings at RS 200. If launched as per expected dates, the bikes should be seen on road by the month of April. The affordable sportsbike is expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 1.10 lakh to Rs. 1.35 lakh.
