New Delhi: Ahead of the commercial launch of Reliance Jio on August 15, the company has extended its Preview Unlimited Usage offer to early adopters of Lyf smartphones and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 users, who didn't receive the offer at the time of purchase of the smartphone. This three-month unlimited data preview offer was offered to Samsung smartphone users last week.

According to Indian telecom news portal TelecomTalk, people who had bought Lyf smartphones before the Jio Preview offer was introduced can now register on www.jio.com/preview/lyf to get an invite code to avail the Jio Preview offer. 

The report further said that Redmi Note 3 users can download the MyJio app to get the offer on the basis of location and city. The Jio app will generate offer barcode, which can be used to avail the SIM at a Reliance Digital or Xpress Mini Store nearby. After getting the SIM and inserting it in the Redmi Note 3 smartphone, users need to dial 1977 to activate the Jio SIM through tele-verification, which will then activate the SIM and the preview offer.

Jio Preview offer will let users enjoy unlimited 4G internet along with unlimited voice calling and unlimited SMS anywhere within India for a period of 90 days. The offer also gives an exclusive access to Jio premium apps which includes Jio Play, Jio Drive, Jio Beats, Jio On-demand, Jio Mag, Jio News, Jio Security and Jio Money.

Jio has already partnered with Samsung and sales of the devices have begun. Also a similar deal with Apple is also said to be in the works. Lately, it was reported that the company prepping to offer MNP (mobile number portability) to get more subscribers aboard its network.
