New Delhi: The much-awaited smartphone OnePlus 3 launch is just hours away. OnePlus is live streaming the launch event in virtual reality from its OnePlus’ virtual space station called ‘The Loop’.

You can watch the live streaming of the OnePlus 3 launch event online that will begin at 12:30AM PDT, which is 10PM IST. You can watch the live stream here.

There was a lot of hype about the event as it will be showcased through virtual reality and for that you will need a virtual reality headset.

The Loop VR was sold through number of flash sales. Also if you don’t have a Loop VR you can use any other VR headset. You will first have to download and install the ‘OnePlus 3 Launch: The Loop’ app from Google Play store.

There are lot of rumours about the OnePlus 3, which is the latest flagship smartphone from the company. The smartphone is expected to be priced for Rs 27,999 (6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant). Also the OnePlus will be doing away with the invite system.

If we take a look at the speculated specifications the OnePlus 3 smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor and paired with 6GB/4GB of RAM. It is expected to come with a 5.5-inch full HD display.

In term of photography the smartphone will come with a 16-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front-facing cameras. It is also speculated to come with 3,000mAh non-removable battery with ‘Dash Charge’ feature. Connectivity options include G LTE with VoLTE support, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. The smartphone will most likely run Android Marshmallow based OxygenOS. It will also come with a fingerprint scanner.
